Pondlife is an effort to document unicellular organisms as the complex living creatures that they are and make them accessible to a wide audience. We have collaborated on a few projects over the years:

Pondlife x AMNH

The three part miniseries Pondlife is about some of the microbial inhabitants of New York City and the surrounding areas, made in collaboration with the American Museum of Natural History.

Lichen

A short documentary about Lichen. Part of the anthology film MOSAIC. Premiered at the 10th annual Imagine Science Film Festival in New York, October 13-20 2017.

Endosymbiotic Theory

Every living thing is made up of cells. These cells contain stories. The earliest life forms on earth were made up of only one cell, while we are made up of many many cells living together. The evolutionary history of how we came to be, from our single cellular ancestors, is one of cooperation between individuals.
