I have been commissioned by New York University’s Biology Department to create several posters for conferences held at the Department, as well as a department t-shirt.
I also teach an annual workshop at NYU called Go Figure: A Scientific Visual Design Workshop, focused on Adobe Illustrator and scientific visual design.

GO FIGURE: A Scientific Visual Design Workshop
Go Figure is a workshop focused on Adobe Illustrator and scientific visual design. It consists of five 2-hour sessions. The first session is a lecture/discussion on key design principles like color considerations, hierarchies of information, and other fundamentals as they relate to the design of figures, slides, documents, and other scientific graphics. The remaining four sessions are a deep dive into Adobe Illustrator, from basics all the way up to more advanced features and making publication-ready figures.
